Privacy policy
This site compares bookable tours in Baja California's wine valley, nothing more. There are no accounts, no forms, and no checkout. Every page you open here, you open anonymously.
Data on this site
Aggregate visit counts are the only measurement this site runs: which pages were read, roughly where the visit came from, what type of device, and which listing links were clicked. The last one matters most, because it shows whether a page helped someone choose between a private Ensenada wine day and a San Diego day trip across the border. It exists to judge whether a page is useful, never to identify anyone. No names, no email addresses, no passport details and no payment details are stored, because nothing here asks for them and there is nothing here to charge you for.
Third-party scripts
The analytics tool sets its own cookies. Where a page embeds a map of the valley or the route down from the border, that map loads from its provider at render time, and the provider may set cookies under its own privacy policy rather than this one.
A click on a tour listing takes you to the live booking page, where the operator's own systems take over and set their own cookies. Those belong to the platform, not to us, and its privacy policy governs them. The same applies to any winery or operator site reached from here. The disclosure page sets out who pays what and when.
Things we avoid
- Sell or rent visitor data to anyone.
- Place ad-network scripts, retargeting pixels or cross-site trackers on any page.
- Request an email address. No newsletter exists and no mailing list is kept.
- Process a card, reserve a seat on a winery visit or touch a booking in any way. Payment and confirmation happen entirely on the operator's own page, under their systems and their terms.
- Offer a contact form of any kind. The contact page is a simple mailto address, so any message you send goes through your own email provider and no intermediary server of ours.
Hosting
Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, whose infrastructure keeps routine server logs with IP addresses for security and abuse filtering. Those logs are never searched in an effort to profile or name individual readers.
Your choices
Tracking protection, a script blocker or a private window will neutralise the analytics here, and no page depends on it. Every tour listing on this site renders fine with JavaScript switched off. Prefer to skip this site altogether? The disclosure page names every operator directly, so you can book with them without passing through here at all.
Anything unclear? Write to us. The disclosure page covers the money side.
